Hard-to-Recycle Station

Take charge of your waste.

The Alliance Center’s Hard-to-Recycle Station is a community resource that diverts hard-to-recycle items from the landfill. We take many common waste items that aren’t accepted by standard municipal recycling systems, then we send them to companies and partners who prevent them from going to the landfill. The Hard-to-Recycle Station has prevented hundreds of thousands of items from entering the waste stream since its founding!

The Hard-To-Recycle Station is open to the general public Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 4:30pm. To play a role in waste reduction, drop off your items at the station on the first floor of our building or make a gift to keep the station running.

Note: This is a very small station so we stop taking items when we are at capacity. Please call us at 303-572-1536 to check our capacity before coming on-site or to confirm acceptable items. You can also email info@thealliancecenter.org with questions.
