Coffee, community, and collaboration – all under one roof.

Convivio Café and the Alliance Center have joined forces to create a new gathering space in the heart of downtown Denver – one that brings people together over coffee, connection, and purpose. Convivio is a bilingual, women-owned café offering sustainably sourced coffee and Guatemalan-inspired food within Denver’s most sustainable historic building.

Convivio Café at The Alliance Center is open to the public from 8:00am - 2:00pm Monday through Friday on the first floor of the Alliance Center, 1536 Wynkoop St., Denver.

A café built for conexion.

Convivio Café is rooted in warmth, culture, and belonging. In Guatemala, a convivio is a get-together where everyone is welcome—and that’s exactly what Convivio Café creates: a place where hospitality, coffee, and community come together naturally.

When you visit, you can look forward to:

  • Farmer-roasted Guatemalan coffee and thoughtfully sourced teas

  • Central American–inspired food (like tostadas and alfajores)

  • A warm, bilingual experience designed for connection

A building built for change.

For more than 20 years, the Alliance Center has been home to mission-driven organizations working toward equitable climate solutions. Convivio Café joins this ecosystem with the same community-centered spirit – adding an everyday gathering place that makes it easier to connect across teams, organizations, and neighborhoods.

This partnership is an example of regeneration in action: a women-owned business, creating an accessible downtown gathering space, and showcasing values-aligned practices inside Denver’s most sustainable historic building.
