Connecting people. Inspiring impact.

Our work is grounded in the three pillars of holistic sustainability.

Environment

Through our Climate+ program, innovative green building initiative, and strategic partnerships, we work at the leading edge of sustainability to create a healthier planet.

Economy

We believe business can be a force for good. Through our Best for Colorado program, we bring together leaders from all sectors to create solutions for our most pressing social, environmental, and economic challenges.

Community

We are the place where citizens gather together to scale up the sustainability movement. Through our Civics in Action program, we amplify the voices of people and organizations that are building a better future.

THE HUMAN ELEMENT: A FILM SCREENING AND Q&A WITH CREATOR JAMES BALOG

OCTOBER 29, 5:30 PM | THE ALLIANCE CENTER | 1536 Wynkoop Street, Denver, CO |  REGISTER HERE

Please join us to experience The Human Element, a new film from acclaimed photographer and storyteller James Balog. Mr. Balog uses his camera to reveal how environmental change is affecting the lives of everyday Americans. Following the four classical elements— air, earth, fire and water— to frame his journey, Balog explores wildfires, hurricanes, sea level rise, coal mining, and the changes in the air we breathe. With compassion and heart, The Human Element tells an urgent story while giving inspiration for a more balanced relationship between humanity and nature. This film is particularly poignant for us here in Denver as it explores the impacts of poor air quality on the health of children in the Denver metro area.

Mr. Balog will be available after the film for questions and a conversation about what we can do to change our ways and make human kind a force for progress and hope.

A cash bar will be available along with plenty of free popcorn!
