Through our annual Best for Colorado Awards Celebration, The Alliance Center and our partners are proud to honor Colorado companies that are leveraging business to create a more equitable and sustainable world! COMMIT TO ACTION AWARD HONOREES

Awarded to the winning applicants that highlighted a project, initiative, strategy, etc. they led which generated change and lasting impact. Our selection process focused on the efforts these companies implemented, the difficulties they faced, how they overcame them and the lessons-learned as a result.

Montanya Distillers is a female-founded and owned craft distillery in Crested Butte. This company distributes to more than 40 states and seven countries and are honored for their sanitizer production and donation to front-line workers.

Pivot Energy was founded in 2009 to fight global warming by expanding access to solar energy and helping the country transition to an electric grid. Pivot is honored for their commitment to providing solar opportunities to low/moderate income communities across Colorado.

The Athena Group is a for-purpose enterprise that collaborates with individuals, organizations and communities to navigate complex systems change. Athena Group is recognized for their work with the greater Durango community to conduct a community-driven strategic planning process on homelessness.

MEASURE WHAT MATTERS AWARD HONOREES

The B Impact Assessment (BIA) is a free tool provided by our partner B Lab to measure companies’ social and environmental impact. This award category recognizes top performing B Corps and non-B Corps working with the last version (V6) of the BIA in the Best for Colorado network.

CHANGEMAKERS AWARDS

Awarded to Namasté Solar and BSW Wealth Partners who had the highest overall score on the BIA.

Namasté Solar helps home and commercial property owners save money through solar. They are an employee-owned, B Corp local Colorado company, and since day one, they’ve chosen to prioritize “doing the right thing” in the business community.

AWARD

Awarded to Pote Law Firm for their top score in the Community section of the BIA.

Pote Law Firm is a public benefit law firm providing legal services to
creative entrepreneurs and socially conscious companies. They help
clients build business potential and cater to those clients willing to
operate as a force for good.

ENVIRONMENT

AWARD

Awarded to Organic India for their top score in the Environment section of the BIA.

Organic India’s mission is to practice love and consciousness in
action. Their ethical supply chain promotes bio-regenerative farming practices and uplifts the livelihoods of over 3,000 family farmers.

Awarded to DOJO4 for their top score in the Workers section of the BIA.
